FM spox advises America to abandon Trump’s failed heritage

Tehran, IRNA – Iranian Foreign Ministry spokesman Saeed Khatibzadeh said here on Saturday that Iran still believed reaching an agreement during the JCPOA talks is possible provided the US decides to abandon (the former US president Donald) Trump’s failed heritage.

The Information Office of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs further quoted Saeed Khatibzadeh as writing in his Twitter account on Saturday that "due to our serious international commitment to our signature, we have been the most active party at Vienna negotiations aiming to rescue the agreement that America had tried to destroy.

"And the proof is that most of the drafts there were proposed by the Iranian delegation," he said.

"We still believe that achieving an agreement is possible, on condition that the Americans will seriously decide to abandon the defeated Trump heritage,” he added.

Khatibzadeh also stressed that "Iran will never get involved on endless negotiations one more time."
