In an interview with IRNA on Friday after voting, Tekyeh said that the elections are a sensitive and influential arena for the future of the country.
He added that "the enemies of the Islamic revolution and Iran wanted to use their sinister plans to change the direction of elections to their desired path, but with the supreme leader’s guidance and intelligence of the Iranian nation and their presence at the ballot box, they did not allow the elections to deviate from their direction and this arena to remain empty.
He further stated that the Iranian people today, defeated the Zionist regime, the United States and the claimants of human rights and humanity by their voting.
The parliamentarian noted that in such a critical time when the future of the country is in line with economic and cultural development in addition to international relations, the powerful hands of the people will be able to shape this future.
Tekyeh said he wanted the Iranian nation to come to the ballot boxes and draw a bright future for the country.
