Iran’s 13th presidential election began on Friday morning across Iran.
Iranian nationals residing abroad can vote in the elections as of 09:00 their local time for ten hours.
In Britain, five polling stations in London and six in Manchester, Birmingham, Leeds, Glasgow, Cardiff and Newcastle are to operate during the presidential election.
According to the statement, observing health protocols are necessary.
The presidential election is being held across Iran coincidentally with the sixth round of municipal council elections for the cities and villages, the first mid-term for 11th round of parliamentary by-election, and the second mid-term for the fifth round of Assembly of Experts' election.
Arriving in polling station No. 110 on Friday morning, the Supreme Leader of the Islamic Revolution Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Khamenei cast his vote in the 13th presidential and sixth city and village councils elections.
