Referring to Azerbaijan's rich culture and common culture and history shared by Iran and Azerbaijan, President Rouhani expressed certainty that the relations between the two neighboring countries will progress more than before.
In his message to his Azeri counterpart Ilham Aliyev, Rouhani wrote that Iran and Azerbaijan have had brotherly relations since independence of Azerbaijan and showed good neighborliness.
In his message, he wished health and success for President Aliev and prosperity for the people of Azerbaijan.
