Iran announces official readiness to host FIFA World Cup qualifiers

Tehran, Feb 16, IRNA - The Iranian Football Federation announced its official preparations to host the 2022 FIFA World Cup qualifying round in the third group.

During an online meeting on Tuesday, the head of the national team, the head of the national team's department, and the Iranian Football Federation formally called its readiness to host the 2022 FIFA World Cup qualifiers in Group C.

The Asian Football Confederation (AFC) will formally announce the schedule of matches on Feb 18, 2021.
