Assassination of Iranian authorities based on colonial wars pattern

London, Jan 13,  IRNA – A former UN human rights rapporteur commented on the assassinations of Brigadier General Haj Qassem Soleimani and Dr. Mohsen Fakhrizadeh and said that those two terrorist acts by America and Israel were based on colonial war patterns and have in a way turned the entire world into a potential war front.

According to the IRNA correspondent in London, prominent analyst of international laws in Princeton University, Professor Richard Anderson Falk made the comment in a Conference on Goal-Oriented Assassinations and Drone attacks, sponsored by the British Islamic Human Rights Commission.

“Assassination of the Commander of Islamic Revolution Guard Corps (IRGC) Quds Force Brigadier General Qassem Soleimani, who was meanwhile a prominent political personality was an obvious and clear case of state-sponsored terrorism,” he said.

The former UN official pointed out that the outgoing US President Donald Trump after the terrorist act of assassinating Martyr Soleimani proudly announced that the IRGC killed commander was an official guest of the Iraqi prime minister in a diplomatic visit of Baghdad, to resolved the existing tension between Iraq and Saudi Arabia, which is proof that that terrorist act was of multi-faceted destructive value and significance.

The former UN rapporteur said that both Israel and America have been highly involved in political state-sponsored terrorism in various countries, based on the Israeli espionage service Mossad and their US collaborates in CIA, that target all their opponents using gun fire.

The Princeton University professor added that the geopolitical horizons are now set in a way that the United States and Israel have not been properly challenged by the international society for resorting to such notorious strategies.

He also strongly criticized the assassinations by US drones in different countries, aimed at weakening the capabilities and potentials of certain political parties.

Professor Falk meanwhile referred to IRI Army Research Institute scientist Mohsen Fakhrizadeh by Israel, as obvious violation of the sovereignty of a UN member state, arguing, “Although the terror was related to a military organization, Mr. Fakhrizadeh was a scientist and this was not the first time that Israel is resorting to such assassinations against world academicians.
