Velayati said that establishing official relations between the UAE government and the Israeli regime amounts to breaking the taboo of establishing relations between Arab states and the Zionist regime, turning back on the Palestinian cause, betraying the Islamic Ummah and shifting the balance of power in favor of the Zionist regime.
"In recent days, we have witnessed the unveiling of one of the most thought-provoking and bizarre events in the UAE's political relations with the illegitimate, oppressive, and usurping Zionist regime," he added.
Velyati noted that after the formation of the occupying Zionist state in the land of the first Muslim Qibla and the occupation of Palestine, one could never have imagined that the Arab Muslim states would. But with the double standards of some reactionary Arab rulers over seventy years, it became clear to all experts and that in an unequal balance, the mobilization of all Arab countries led by Abdel Nasser could not succeed during the three wars between the Arabs and Israel, Velayati said, noting that one of the reasons for these defeats was the lack of support and cooperation against the occupying regime, so that little Israel was able to win against some dependent Arab states.

Obviously, the effects and consequences of such a shameful act will be nothing but isolation from the Islamic Ummah and the Islamic awakening of the people of the region and accelerating the demise and collapse of the Zionist regime, he said.
