Red Crescent helping 2 million unemployed due to Corona crisis

Tehran, March 3, IRNA - Acting Chief of the Iranian Red Crescent Society Karim Hemmati said the organization is planning to provide livelihood assistance to about two million people who have lost their daily wages because of the Corona crisis.

Hemmati noted that the Red Crescent has been cooperating with the Health Ministry and crisis management centers since the beginning of the crisis, providing services with the help of donators and volunteers.

He underlined that the corona crisis which is still going on has caused many vulnerable people lose their jobs so his organization is gong to raise funds and attract donations for those affected by the crisis.
