The remarkable funeral procession took place in Iraq and the upcoming ceremony in Iran will convince the US on the serious mistake it has made, he underscored.
He called on the neighboring states to condemn the criminal move of the US in the situation.
Elsewhere in his remarks, the President stated that Iran-Qatar close relations are positive in bolstering mutual as well as regional cooperation.
He voiced the hope that the countries in the region would come together within the Hormuz Peace Initiative (HOPE).
Qatari Foreign Minister Mohammed bin Abdulrahman Al Thani, for his part, expressed his condolences on the martyrdom of Soleimani.
He called for boosting mutual ties with Iran, adding Qatar will always remember Iran's contributions in hard times.
