"Good measures for the infrastructure of Chabahar and Konarak tourism, this region has a bright future in attracting tourists," Ali Asghar Mounesan said on Tuesday.

The vice president said that paying attention to the tourism sector would provide the ground for occupation of thousands of people and could solve some of the problems of unemployment and underdevelopment of the disadvantaged region.

"The Free Zone of Chabahar has done good things in preparing infrastructure and attracting tourists, he noted, underscoring, “Sistan and Baluchestan handicrafts are very valuable and of great importance and should be given special attention."
