Shirzad said in a meeting with the his Georgian counterpart in Tehran on Saturday.
In the meeting, the Georgian police head called for expansion of cooperation between the two forces.
Shirzad also called for following up the rights of both countries' nationals , extradition of prisoners and bolstering educational and research cooperation.
Highlighting the structure of Iranian international police, he called for expansion of cooperation, exchange of experiences and taking advantage of police capacities in both countries.
He also called for investigating issues on red notices, establishing of expert committees to follow up issues in fighting against crimes, terrorism, human trafficking, illegal immigration, forgery and prisoner extradition.
The Georgian official, for his part expressed readiness for expanding cooperation in all police affairs, following up international prisoners swap and signing MoU to fight against systematic crimes.
