Iran, Brazil discuss bilateral ties

Tehran, June 7, IRNA – Iranian Ambassador to Brasilia Seyyed Ali Saqaiyan and Vice President of Brazil Hamilton Mourão in a meeting in the Brazilian capital discussed bilateral relations.

During the meeting, both sides discussed relations in various fields and the issues on the agenda for developing cooperation.

Referring to long-standing 116-year-old relations between Iran and Brazil, Mourão described Iran as a country which enjoys thousands of years civilization and is the main player in the Middle East.

He also emphasized Brazilian government’s determination for preserving bilateral ties at high level with Iran.
