Pakistan stands by Iran in current regional developments: Pakistan minister

Islamabad, June 1, IRNA – Pakistan Minister of State for Parliamentary Affairs Ali Muhammad Khan says his country stands by the people of Islamic Republic of Iran in current regional developments.

Speaking as a chief guest at a ceremony organized by Iran embassy to mark international day of al-Quds, he said that the enemy of Iran is enemy of Pakistan.
He expressed gratitude to founder of the Islamic Revolution Imam Khomeini for declaring last Friday of Ramadan as al-Quds Day.

“We must not forget the struggle of oppressed Palestinian people,” he noted.

He regretted that Muslims are being slaughtered in Palestine, but, Muslims in other parts of the world are not feeling the pain.

“We have to rise up to this oppression,” he stressed. The minister went on to say that an international conspiracy is going on against Muslims.

“We, as Muslims have to stand up to this aggression, we are not short of brightened mind. We have to unite and forget our little disputes,” said the minister.

Ali Muhammad Khan was of the view that there would be a rise of Islam in the area in which Iran, Pakistan and Afghanistan are located. “We have to sort out our differences if any,” he added.

The official said that Muslims have to think that what they have done for the oppressed Muslims around the globe.  “We need to raise our voice,” he noted.
“We will push Israel out of Palestine, we consider Israel as our enemy,” the minister said.

He said that: enemy of Iran is enemy of Pakistan and enemy of Islam is the enemy of Pakistan.  

He viewed that the time has come that we should speak in comity of nations against the conspiracy against Muslims.  

“We stand with the people of Iran, we salute your leadership and you courage,” said Ali Muhammad Khan.
