There is no reason for Korean banks to prevent Iran from taking advantage of its sources under the pretext of US sanctions, Hemmati said in a meeting with South Korean Ambassador to Tehran Yu Jang Hian.
During the meeting, both sides discussed banking and economic cooperation.
Hemmati referred to Iran's assets in South Korean banks and their refusal to maintain cooperation with these banks and expressed Iranian government's dissatisfaction of the issue.
Iranian government and people will not tolerate such sabotage, he said, adding that Iran expects Korean officials to resolve these problems.
Meanwhile, Jang Hian expressed readiness for offering any help to develop economic relations between two countries.
Stressing the fact that Korean petrochemical industry depends on importing Iran's gas condensates, he promised to spare no efforts to facilitate trade exchanges between two countries.
