Psycho war on Iran; repetitive scenarios to twitter threats

Tehran, May 21, IRNA - Developments in Iran-US ties indicate that media saber-rattling by relying on repetitive scenarios as well as the Twitter threats by the White House businessmen before they can be implemented in practice is pouring fuel into the fire of psychological war.

The news media and foreign social networks these days, more than ever, are beating on the the propaganda drum of American threats against Iran, and the ups and downs of ties between the two countries is at the top of their news and analysis.

Releasing inflammatory news that addresses not only the public opinion in Iran, the American people and even the entire world, is also the agenda of American, Arabic and Persian-language media outside the country. From the point of view of the experts, such inflammation is done with different purposes and the motivations of those persons behind inflammation are also diverse.

According to observers, the US is not after war, so the goal of inflaming the general atmosphere of Iranian society by the country is to exert more pressure on the people and the Islamic Republic.

The Persian Gulf littoral states welcome any tensions that undermine Iran and basically accumulate their arsenals with turbulent days in the Middle East with a variety of American weapons.

The Zionist regime also considers Iran as an obstruction against its desires and demand and occupation in the region and is therefore eager for any global conflict with Iran.

What is seen today in reality, however, is to avoid any practical adventure by the parties, which makes the scenario of a psychological war on Iran more intense.

** US psychological war scenarios against Iran

The psychological war scenario is being pursued in organized planning in the news media, which in its first episode on May 6, John Bolton, a member of the B team and White House National Security Advisor, announced the dispatching of the US Abraham Lincoln naval group to the waters of the Persian Gulf.

'The ship has entered the Mediterranean Sea 21 days ago, and Bolton's statement is an amateur use of a worthless event for psychological warfare,' said Spokeswoman of the Supreme National Security Council Keyvan Khosravi, just hours after the announcement, pointing out that Iran is closely monitoring the aircraft carrier Abraham Lincoln.

The other episode was screened a week later and on May 12 in Fujairah, the UAE. The news media reported a number of explosions on oil tankers, and foreign media, especially Arab, have declared Iran as the factor behind the explosions in various news propaganda.

A few days later, the Norwegian insurance company claimed that the role of the Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) in the explosions.

Iran condemned any tensions in the Persian Gulf region noting it as detrimental for all the countries in the region and thus partially thwarted Iranophobic planning against itself.

In the past few days, the scenario continued by the announcement of the departure of American citizens from Iraq, increased the level of security by the UK or even the secret deployment of its troops, an unprecedented security arrangement around oil facilities and increased security patrols in the Persian Gulf by Arabic states, and has now reached its other episode.

** Implications of psychological war in Middle East

The US knows better than any other state in the world that neither the political doctrine nor the ideological foundations of the Islamic Republic gives anyone the permit to make nuclear weapons and weapons of mass destruction (WMDs). But why do different US presidents emphasize this 'permit' at different junctions, on the one hand, is rooted in their need to persuade domestic public opinion and, on the other hand, to put pressure on Iran.

The CIA and other US intelligence agencies have written and made repetitive pretexts and scenarios for the past half century for all their adventures. This time they are waiting for their new psychological war against Iran to pay off.

More than any other option, the United States has looked at the will of the people of Iran to win the media and economic pressures in the war of the wills. But the experience of years of American adventure has shown that inflammation in the Middle East will spread to other parts of the world.

Energy security in the Strait of Hormuz is undeniable for the world, and with such an atmosphere, any third foreign force and beneficiary will increase the possibility of exacerbation of hostilities.

The consequences of the psychological war will not be limited to Iran, and given the importance of the Islamic Republic in international equilibrium, the mental disorder in Iran will be extended to other parts.

** Iran's reaction to propaganda war

Iran’s prudence and measures have been effective against the American propaganda war and its regional and trans-regional allies, and Iran has repeatedly emphasized the maintenance of peace in the light of its own interests.

It is in the shadow of the plan that Hebrew-Arab Iranophobic measures have failed to provide an excuse for the White House businessman.

In each of the scenarios of the past month, Iran has maintained its self-restraint and has used its legal rights based on international relations. According to experts, such movements and positions taken by Iran in foreign-policy chess may not apparently be successful in uniting Europe and other countries of the world, but have caused a number of challenges in formation of the global consensus on Iran.
