Iran slashes Saudi 'trouble-making policies' in region

Tehran, May 21, IRNA - A senior Iranian lawmaker criticized Saudi Arabia’s 'trouble-making policies' following a rocket attack in Baghdad’s Green Zone.

“Launching [rocket] towards the US Embassy [in Baghdad's Green Zone] as well as the Arab summit in [Mecca] are all part of the Saudi trouble-making policies,' Chairman of the Iranian Parliament's National Security and Foreign Policy Commission Heshmatollah Falahatpisheh tweeted on Tuesday.

On Sunday, a rocket hit an area of the fortified diplomatic and governmental zone in the Iraqi capital, also called Baghdad's Green Zone, near the US Embassy. The attack didn’t cause any injury.

Also, Saudi King Salman Bin Abdulaziz convened Arab leaders for a summit in Mecca to discuss the recent heightened tensions in the region.
