Iranian, French universities to hold joint psychological course

Tehran, May 15, IRNA – Iran's Allameh Tabataba'i University and University of Poitiers of France are after signing cooperation to hold joint international psychological Criminal - Judicial course.

The one-year course is to be held in two branches for psychologists, psychiatrists, judges and lawyers.

The University of Poitiers is a university in Poitiers, France. It is a member of the Coimbra Group, as one of the oldest universities of Europe.

As of July 2015 it is a member of the regional university association Leonardo da Vinci consolidated University.

Allameh Tabataba'i University in Tehran is the largest specialized public university in humanities and social sciences in Iran, with 15,624 students and 422 full-time faculty members.

Earlier, President of the University of Poitiers Yves Jean in a meeting with Chancellor of Amir Kabir University of Technology Ahmad Motamedi expressed interests to maintain cooperation with Iran in literature, law, maths and environment fields.

He also extended readiness to cooperate with Iran in biology and medical imaging fields.
