Beverly Hills conductor holding Masterclasses in Tehran

Tehran, May 12, IRNA - Mehran Tebyani, Iranian Director of the US Beverly Hills Philharmonic Orchestra, has organized 'Conducting Masterclasses' in Tehran as of May 12.

The three-day Conducting Masterclasses (May12, 14, 16) are aimed at promoting the level of academic music in Iran, training deputy head of Tehran Conservatory Raziyeh Moafi told IRNA on Sunday.

About the class, Moafi said it will focus on conducting and understanding both Iranian and world music.

Tebyani, founder of Beverly Hills Academy of Music, is the first Iranian who received Bachelor of Music in Classical Composition from California State University.
