Gas explosion kills one, injures nine people in Tehran

Tehran, May 8, IRNA – Explosion in an old three-storey building in Tehran claimed life of one inhabitant and injured nine others.

The accident led to dilapidation of the nearby house.

Spokesman of Tehran Fire Department Jalal Maleki said the incident happened Sepand Street, centeral Tehran.

He added that six people were injured in the three-storey building.

A middle-aged woman was killed and three others were injured in the nearby house, he noted.
