Iran, Austria discuss developing academic ties

London, March 28, IRNA – Iran Envoy to Austria Ebadollah Molaei and the Managing Director of OeAD Jakob Calice reviewed promoting academic relations.

The OeAD is the Austrian agency for international mobility and cooperation in education, science and research.

During the meeting both sides discussed the latest development and programs of Iranian and Austrian universities, the importance of facilitating Iranian students’ in Austrian universities, improving the Persian language position and holding the upcoming meeting of workgroup on academic cooperation in Tehran.

It is worth mentioning that Austria is one the most important sides for maintaining academic cooperation with Iran in Europe.

Earlier, Iranian envoy in a meeting with Hans Peter Doskozil, Governor of Burgenland reviewed capacities, facilities and future of Iran-Austria relations and also provincial cooperation.

During the meeting the Austrian sides expressed readiness to continue traditional relations and to reinforce inter-provincial cooperation in cultural, agricultural, environment and renewable energies fields.
