The source who was speaking on the condition of anonymity told the Islamic Republic News Agency (IRNA) that the Turkish army conducted a military operation against the PKK group along its eastern borders on Monday morning.
He underlined that Iranian forces played no role in this military operation.
The source, meantime, said that the Iranian armed forces will strongly deal with any group seeking to create unrest in the country.
