Turkey slams increasing pressures against Iran

Tehran, Feb 27, IRNA - Turkish Foreign Minister strongly criticizes increase in sanctions and intensification of international pressure against Iran.

According to Anatoly on Wednesday, Molud Chavosh-oglu in Humanitarian Diplomacy and Entrepreneurship conference while stressing that Ankara is standing by Tehran in the sanctions era, stressed that the tightening of pressure on Iran is not right.

He underlined that Turkey is very powerful in the field of counter-terrorism and at the negotiating table.

'The global system faces very serious problems, such as the dangers of terrorism and the wave of immigration,' Chavosh-oglu said, emphasizing that it is very difficult to determine and implement foreign policy in the current global system.

The foreign minister said that international organizations alone cannot cope with these problems, and the United Nations needs fundamental reforms.

The official said that there are long-standing differences in the world in addition to existing conflicts, adding that international actors have been slipping into these divisions.
