Pakistan must go an extra mile to address Iran grievances: Analyst

Islamabad, Feb 26, IRNA – A Pakistani analyst in an article on Tuesday urged Islamabad to try to address Iran grievances pertaining to the security threats posed by terrorist groups.

“Pakistan must run an extra mile to address Iranian grievances regarding the security threats posed by terrorist organizations,' Kashif Hussain wrote in his article published by ‘Daily Times’.

Iran and Pakistan through their collaboration can ensure peace along the joint borders, Hussain said.

'Interestingly, Pakistan stands against the US-Zionist stance on JCPOA and Jerusalem. The country also abhors any such idea designed and promoted in Warsaw,” he said.

He noted the defectors from the proscribed terrorist organizations, after experiencing a befitting defeat at the hands of Pakistani security forces, have taken refuge in Afghanistan and most of them have submitted their allegiance to Daesh (ISIS).

“However, it is still possible that a foreign power might exploit the angry few still resisting the writ of government for their vested interests,” warned the analyst.
