Regional states’ silence emboldens Zionists: Spox

Tehran, Feb 22, IRNA – Foreign Ministry spokesman Bahram Qasemi condemned Zionists’ recent attacks on Al-Aqsa Mosque, saying that deadly silence of certain regional government has emboldened the Zionists to step up their aggression on historic and Islamic sites in Palestine.

“Massacre and ethnic cleansing in Beit ul-Moqaddas have got underway since the occupation Palestine but deadly silence of certain regional governments against the frequent offenses of the Zionists and their accompaniment to the ridiculous show of Warsaw Meeting as well as establishing covert and overt contacts with perpetrators of the mass killings have encouraged and emboldened the Zionists to carry out aggressions against holy sites in Palestine, especially Beit ul-Moqaddas,” he said.

Qasemi called for urgent and practical measures by the Islamic states and international organizations to condemn recent acts by the Zionists and prevent their recurrence.
