Iran supporting development of Salaheddin, Samarra

Samarra, Feb 20, IRNA - Ambassador of Iran in Baghdad said Tehran supports the full development of Salaheddin province and the holy city of Samarra.

At the ceremony to appreciate those people involved in holding Arbaeen rituals in Salaheddin province, Iraq, which was held with the participation of province's officials, Iraj Masjedi said, 'Within the framework of the development of all-out cooperation with our friend and brother country of Iraq, Iran is paying special attention to Salaheddin province and Samarra.'

'We encourage Iranian companies to operate and invest in various parts of Iraq, including Salah ad Din, and in this regard we call on the local and central government of Iraq to provide the ground more than before,' he added.

The Iranian high-profile official made the remarks that Iran, as it was alongside the Iraqi people and the government of Iraq in the war against the ISIS is ready to provide support and assistance during the reconstruction and construction eras and has already begun serious cooperation in this regard.

referring to the upcoming visit of Iran President Hassan Rouhani to Iraq,I ran's ambassador to Baghdad expressed hope that good agreements would be signed on strengthening the two countries' relations.
