Iran, Kyrgyzstan FMs discuss enhancing cooperation

Tehran, Feb 16, IRNA – Iranian and Kyrgyz foreign ministers in a meeting on Saturday discussed development of bilateral cooperation.

Iranian Foreign Minister Mohammad Javad Zarif and Foreign Minister of the Kyrgyz Republic Chingiz Azamatovich Aidarbekov met on the sidelines of Munich Security Conference.

Zarif and Aidarbekov explored avenues for development of their cooperation on international issues as well as strengthening bilateral ties in all fields, in particular, economy and culture.

Iranian foreign minister arrived in Germany on Friday morning to participate in 2019 Munich Security Conference.

In addition to delivering speech in the conference, Zarif will hold talks with political figures attending the ongoing event.

Munich Security Conference is held annually in the German city of Munich since 1963 with the aim of providing political, economic, scientific and military officials from around the world with an opportunity to explore ways of maintaining peace and establishing security.
