Iranian Armenians denounce terrorist attack on IRGC bus

Tabriz, Feb 16, IRNA - The Armenian Diocese of Eastern Azarbaijan has condemned a terrorist attack in southeastern Iran that left dozens of members of Iran’s Islamic Revolution Guards Corps dead and injured.

“We strongly denounce the terrorist attack in Sistan and Baluchistan that resulted in death and injury of a group of our country’s brave border guards,” reads a statement published by the Armenian Diocese of Eastern Azarbaijan on Saturday.

The document goes on to assert that such “actions will never harm the stability and security of this land.”

“On the contrary, -it adds- such acts further bring together Iranians from all walks of life and leave enemies of this land shameful.”

A suicide car bomber killed 27 members of Iran’s Islamic Revolution Guards Corps (IRGC) and injured up to 13 others last Wednesday.
