Tehran, Feb 16, IRNA - An official says attracting capital has mostly been in the field of industry, since beginning of the current Iranian year (beginning in 21 March) 150 projects with a direct investment of about $3.5 billion have been approved by the Foreign Investment Board.

Head of Organization for investment Economic and Technical Assistance of Iran Ahmad Jamali, in an interview with the Islamic Republic News Agency (IRNA), said, 'Since mid-2015, we have witnessed the presence of foreign delegations in our country, which has resulted in a large number of foreign companies willing to invest.'

He said that after the implementation of Iran's nuclear deal with the major countries of the world, the organization was in the position between 2015 and 2017 to grant the necessary permits for foreign investments and paved the way for start of the activities of these companies in our country.

The official said that what these days have raised about the departure of foreign companies from our country in public circles is not true; the statistics show that most foreign companies, since they have domestic partners and joint ventures, are now continuing their activates in Iran.
