Afghanistan condemns terror attack in Iran

Kabul, Feb 15, IRNA – Afghan Presidential Office issued a statement on Thursday to condemn terrorist attack on IRGC forces in Zahedan of Iran claiming lives of 27 people and injuring 13 others.

The statement reads in part terrorism is the common enemy for both nations.

Terrorism is a regional and global phenomenon which requires collective contribution and cooperation to fight against, it added.

Close coordination between governments in fight against terrorism will be an effective step to eradicate it as people in Afghanistan for many years have offered many victims and the country's forces are on the front row in fight against terrorism, the statement read.

Public Relations Department of the Islamic Revolution Guard Corps (IRGC) Quds Headquarters in a statement late on Wednesday said 27 of its forces were martyred and 13 wounded in a terrorist attack on the Khash-Zahedan road.
