Iran ambassador urges collective efforts of regional states for regional stability

Tehran, Feb 13, IRNA – Iran wants comprehensive regional cooperation among regional states to bring about welfare and stability to the region, Iran’s ambassador to Kuwait Mohammad Irani said on Wednesday.

Speaking during a ceremony in Kuwait City to commemorate the 40th victory anniversary of the Islamic Revolution, the ambassador said that Iran eyes to expand constructive and brotherly relations with all neighboring countries.

Regional countries can ensure security and stability across the region through genuine solidarity and cooperation without reliance on aliens, Irani said.

The ceremony was attended by Assistant Foreign Minister of Kuwait Ali Sulaiman Al-Saeed, tens of political, social, economic and cultural figures of Kuwait, a number of Parliament members, as well as a number of Kuwait City-based foreign diplomats.
