Iran not to smile at enemies: Army cmdr

Tabriz, Feb 11, IRNA – Iranian people will never smile at enemies, said the commander of the Islamic Republic Army in an address to the Bahman 22 (February 11) ralliers in Tabriz, northwestern Iran, on Monday.

'Iran has been threatened and faced many problems, but we will never smile at enemies; this is not the first time in history of Islam and Iran that people stand and tolerate pressures,' said Brigadier General Abdurraheem Mousavi.

'The world should know that the great people of Iran will continue to progress and will hopefully be victorious.'

The enemy has been threatening and plotting continuously, but with wise leadership of Supreme Leader Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Khamenei they were all neutralized and Iran became victorious, he said.

'The enemy wants the Islamic countries be their milk cows.'

Saying that the most important fruit of the Islamic Revolution was the independence of the country, he added, 'If this event becomes a model for other countries, it will be an end to the World Arrogance; that’s why they fear the Islamic Revolution of the people of Iran.'

Iran is strong standard-bearer whose flag will not fall down whatsoever, he said.
