Participation in Bahman 22 rallies, national duty: Religious minority leaders

Isfahan, Feb 10, IRNA – Leaders of different religious groups in this central Iranian province invited all on Sunday to take part in the Bahman 22 (Feb 11) rallies to mark anniversary of 1979 Islamic Revolution in Iran.

Presence in the Bahman 22 rallies is a national duty and a symbol of national unity as well, senior members of minorities in Isfahan told the Islamic Republic News Agency (IRNA).

Commenting on the 40th anniversary of the Islamic Revolution, chairman of Isfahan Jewish Committee Sion Mahgerefteh said the massive turnout in the Bahman 22 rallies will foil the enemies’ plots against the Iranian nation.

Also, Armenians’ representative in Iran’ Majlis (Parliament) from Isfahan constituency Georgik Abrahamian in an interview with IRNA on Sunday said that Armenians along with other people in Iran will attend the Bahman 22 rallies.

About 7,000 out of about half a million Armenians in Iran livie in Isfahan.
