Iran's Islamic Revolution getting more glory, majesty

Kabul, Feb 7, IRNA – Iran's Ambassador to Kabul Mohammad-Reza Bahrami says the Islamic Revolution of Iran is gaining more glory and majesty day by day.

Bahrami made the remarks in a ceremony held in Kabul on Thursday in commemoration of the 40th victory anniversary of the Islamic Revolution of Iran.

'Celebrations marking victory of the Islamic Revolution of Iran are getting more glorious at a time when certain enemies of us had announced explicitly that Iran's revolution will not witness its 40th triumph anniversary, said the diplomat.

The Executive Head of Afghan National Unity Government Abdullah Abdullah, a large number of Afghan Ulima, lawmakers, cabinet ministers, foreign diplomats in Kabul and teachers were present in the ceremony.

Establishment of the Islamic Republic system opened a new chapter in history of the Iranian nation.

Elsewhere in his address, Bahrami said the Iranian government supports any initiative, talks and procedures, taken under ownership, leadership and through coordination with government of the country, that would help restore peace and stability in Afghanistan.

He said the mechanism of dialogue among Afghan groups is the most natural and logical path of access to peace and security in Afghanistan and evidently, the countries being friend to Afghanistan will play the role of preparing necessary condition for the dialogue.
