Unity code of countering common threats: Minister

Tehran, Feb 6, IRNA- Minister of Culture and Islamic Guidance Seyyed Abbas Salehi says that better communication can be made in light of unity among all the monotheistic religions against common threats.

The minister made the remark in a meeting with representatives of the monotheistic religions and a group of selected winners of “The Book of the Islamic Republic of Iran Award” on the occasion of the 40th anniversary of the Islamic Revolution.

He said, “In this period and the days, shared beliefs and shared values help us get more associated with each other, connecting religious monotheistic beliefs and moral values, and connecting dozens of common points to monotheistic religions.”

Member of the Supreme Council of Cultural Revolution emphasized, 'We need more than ever to persist on these beliefs and common approaches because there are many concerns that threaten everyone.”

'We must all stand in the face of common threats and get rid of them through unity; the late leader (of Islamic Republic and father of the Islamic Revolution Imam Khomeini) and the Supreme Leader of Islamic Revolution (Ayatollah Seyed Ali Khamenei) has a remarkable look at religions, and we can better communicate with each other with this insight.'
