Danish pharmaceutical companies voice readiness for cooperation with Iran

London, Feb 6, IRNA – Iran’s Ambassador in London Hamid Baeidinejad announced Danish pharmaceutical company of Novo Nordisk’s readiness for resuming cooperation with Iran.

In a tweet on Tuesday, he said that the noted company in the world welcomed registration of INSTEX by the E3, saying that it was waiting for the implementation of such a mechanism to engage in trade with Iran.

Novo Nordisk as the biggest producer of Insulin and diabetes drugs meets 50 percent of the world’s needed Insulin.

According to a report by Politiken newspaper, financial director of Novo Nordisk has said that he is happy to see the mechanism was set up by the European states, hoping that it would be able to use the channel at the earliest.

On January 31, German, British and French foreign ministers in a news meeting in Bucharest officially announced registration of the European special financial mechanism known as the Instrument in Support of Trade Exchanges (INSTEX).

The channel will first cover foodstuff and medicines and then it will become wider in scope.
