Israeli forces kill 1 Palestinian, injure another in West Bank

Tehran, Feb 5, IRNA – The Israeli regime armed forces killed a Palestinian youth and injured 1 more in the West Bank on Monday night.

According to Palestinian news agency 'Safa', the attack happened in northern Jenin and the West Bank.

The Israeli media claimed that the occupying forces shot them in an armed conflict.

Based on the Palestinian media reports, the two Palestinian youths were transferred to hospital.

The Zionist regime's army delivered the dead body of the Palestinian youth with delay.

Earlier, UN office for human rights announced that the Israeli regime has destroyed 19 Palestinian buildings in the West Bank over the past 2 weeks.

Meanwhile, a research center affiliated with Palestine Liberation Organization (PLO) earlier announced that Israeli regime have killed 54 kids and injured 900 more since the beginning of 2018.

Various Palestinian cities, especially Ramallah, Al-Bireh and Quds have recently witnessed serious conflicts between Israeli forces and Palestinians.

Earlier on January 22, the Israeli regime declared start of air attacks on northern Gaza on the pretext of retaliating targeting a Zionist soldier. They killed a Resistance member affiliated to Izz ad-Din al-Qassam Brigades and injured two others in an artillery attack on eastern Bureij.

The great 'March of Return' rallies culminated on May 15 to mark what Palestinians refer to as the Nakba, or Catastrophe, a reference to the forced removal of 750,000 Palestinians from their homes and villages to clear the way for Israel's establishment in 1948.

The mass Friday demonstrations have continued since then.

Since the protests began on March 30, Israeli forces have killed at least 259 Palestinians in the besieged coastal enclave and wounded about 26,000 people, according to health officials in Gaza.
