Chinese professor urges countries to follow Iran's path

Tehran, Feb 4, IRNA - Iran's independence can serve as a complete example for developing countries, a Chinese professor has told IRNA.

'Iran has pursued an exclusive model to reach development and didn't follow Western countries in this regard,' Wang Ze Zhuang, head of Research Center for West Asian Studies at the Anhui University in China said in an interview with the Islamic Republic News Agency (IRNA).

'Iran's independence serves as a complete example that developing countries can look at and others need to follow this pattern very well,' he added.

The Chinese professor believes that Iran's public diplomacy was successful during the past 40 years because the country's international prestige has been growing since the victory of the 1979 Islamic Revolution.

'Ayatollah Khamenei is a philosopher and unique ruler in the world that has strengthened Muslims unity in international arenas,' Juang stressed.

'Realistic positions of the leader of Islamic Republic of Iran has always protected his country from any harm,' he added.
