Israel dilapidates 19 Palestinian houses in West Bank

Tehran, Feb 3, IRNA – UN office for human rights announced that the Israeli regime has destroyed 19 Palestinian buildings in the West Bank over the past 2 weeks.

According to Arab media, United Nations Office for the Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs (OCHA) said that Israelis have destroyed 6 buildings in Holy Quds and 13 others in the West Bank.

Based on the report, Israel has caused homelessness for 26 Palestinians.

Earlier last year, the Zionist regime of Israel destroyed five schools in the West Bank.

Meanwhile, a research center affiliated with Palestine Liberation Organization (PLO) announced that Israeli regime have killed 54 kids and injured 900 more since the beginning of 2018.

The Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu had earlier said that he ordered destroying houses of those Palestinians who participated in Resistance's recent operation.

Various Palestinian cities, especially Ramallah, Al-Bireh and Quds have recently witnessed serious conflicts between Israeli forces and Palestinians.

Earlier on January 22, the Israeli regime declared start of air attacks on northern Gaza on the pretext of retaliating targeting a Zionist soldier. They killed a Resistance member affiliated to Izz ad-Din al-Qassam Brigades and injured two others in an artillery attack on eastern Bureij.

The great 'March of Return' rallies culminated on May 15 to mark what Palestinians refer to as the Nakba, or Catastrophe, a reference to the forced removal of 750,000 Palestinians from their homes and villages to clear the way for Israel's establishment in 1948.

The mass Friday demonstrations have continued since then.

Since the protests began on March 30, Israeli forces have killed at least 259 Palestinians in the besieged coastal enclave and wounded about 26,000 people, according to health officials in Gaza.
