Iran, Kazakhstan to develop tourist exchange

Tehran, Jan 29, IRNA - Minister of Culture and Sports of Kazakhstan and Iranian ambassador to the country stressed the importance of facilitating the issuance of visas for the development of tourism between the two countries as well as cooperation in the fields of sports, handicrafts and cultural heritage.

Arystanbek Mohammaduli said during his meeting with Iranian Ambassador Majid Saberto the Republic of Kazakhstan that 'various steps have been taken to develop tourism between the two countries and attract Iranian tourists by Kazakhstan government, and we are working to provide more facilities on this area.”

'Our effort is to create conditions in addition to increasing the arrival of Iranian tourists to Kazakhstan so that Kazakh tourists can travel easily to Iran,' he said.

The Minister of Culture and Sports of Kazakhstan said that “Iran has a special place for us as a major country in the Muslim world as well as a country with a rich history and culture.”
