Yemeni forces foil Saudi operation killing 20, injuring 50 more

Tehran, Jan 28, IRNA – The Yemeni forces thwarted Saudi coalition attacks in common border with Saudi Arabia killing at least 20 and injuring 50 more.

According to Arab media ' Al Mayadeen', Yemenis foiled the Saudi forces' operation in Shaja, Najran.

In the meantime, Yemeni army targeted Saudi positions in Baqa with rockets and artillery shells.

Saudi Arabia and its regional allies attacked Yemen in March 2015 to bring back to power the deposed president of Yemen Abdrabbuh Mansour Hadi.

Since then, the invaders have committed horrible war crimes against Yemeni civilians.

The United Nations Security Council enacted resolution 2451 to support the Stockholm Agreement on deployment of a team in order to facilitate monitoring and implementing the Agreement and establishing truce in important Yemeni ports.

The two sides agreed to a truce in important ports of Yemen according to Sockholm Agreement but the ceasefire has been broken several times.
