Iran hands over 62 deportees to Pakistan

Islamabad, Jan 25, IRNA -- Iran has handed over 62 Pakistani nationals to authorities at Iran-Pak border in Nukundi area of Balochistan, state media reported.

According to details, these Pakistani workers had gone to Iran for their livelihood. They were apprehended from different parts of Iran by security forces because they were living there without valid travelling documents.

These deportees would be handed over to Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) for further investigation after completion of initial inquiry.

Pakistanis living in Iran illegally or trying to enter Iran illegally are caught every year by Iranian security forces. Iranian authorities have been often deporting illegal Pakistani immigrants.
