Spanish city of Alicante to host Iran’s Historical Artifacts Exhibition

Madrid, Jan 25, IRNA – Head of Iran’s Cultural Heritage, Handicrafts and Tourism Organization Ali Asghar Monesan on Thursday held talks with the officials of the Spanish city of Alicante which is to host Iran’s Historical Artifacts Exhibition in March.

In the meeting also attended by Iran’s Ambassador in Madrid Hassan Qashqavi, Monesan expressed pleasure over the measures taken to organize Exhibition of Iran Cradle of Civilizations, hoping that the event which will make the Spanish further acquainted with the ancient history of Iran would be held in the best manner.

It was also agreed during the meeting to screen Iranian films, perform Iranian music pieces on the sidelines of the upcoming five-month exhibition.

Officials of Alicante Archeological Museum also elaborated on the arrangements made to host the event and invited Monesan to take part in the exhibition.

Monesan said that holding the historic exhibition will further bring nations closer to each other.

The Exhibition ‘Iran Cradle of Civilizations’ will open on March 14, displaying 200 artifacts.
