Spain's king visits Iran's booth at Madrid exhibition

Madrid, Jan 23, IRNA – Spain's King Felipe VI accompanied by his queen visited Iran's pavilion at the first day of the 39th International Tourism Exhibition in Marid themed 'Fitur'.

While inspecting Iran's pavilion, Spain's king held short talks with Iran's Vice President and Head of Iranian Cultural Heritage, Handicrafts and Tourism Organization (ICHTO) Ali Asghar Mounesan.

Expressing satisfaction over his visit, he highlighted historical and cultural affinities between the two countries and also voiced his love for Iran's live music displayed during his stay at the pavilion.

Mounesan welcomed the visit of Spain's king and briefed him on Iran's tourists' attractions and present a carpet tableau bearing image of the king and queen as a gift to him.

Artists from 165 countries put their latest handicrafts at display.
