Iran's mineral exports hit over $1b in 9 months

Tehran, Jan 22, IRNA – Based on the statistics available, the value of mineral exports reached $1.7b in the first 9 months of the current Iranian calendar year (started on March 21, 2018).

The figure accounted for more than 3.2% of the whole exports.

According to Iranian customs charts, the mineral exports weight was 18,263,000 tons during the period under study.

The figure experienced 16% growth in weight and 33% in value compared with the same figures in the corresponding period two years ago.

Some 86,940,000 tons of non-oil exports, including gas condensates, worth $33,358,000,000, were exported in the period, showing 2% fall in weight and 5.4% rise in value.
