Saudi-led coalition bombs residential areas in northern Yemen

Tehran, Jan 20, IRNA – Saudi-led coalition’s fighter jets targeted residential areas in the Yemeni border cities of Sheda and Razah in Saada province, north of Yemen, on Saturday.

Saudi army fired missiles and artillery shells at residential buildings and villages in these cities.

Saudi-led coalition’s fighters also targeted a freeway in Razah on Saturday.

Saudi Arabia and a number of its regional allies launched a devastating military campaign against Yemen in March 2015, with the aim of bringing back the government of Mansour Hadi back to power.

Some 20,000 Yemenis have been killed and thousands more injured since the onset of the Saudi-led aggression.

The assaults of the Saudi-led coalition forces have failed to stop the Yemenis from resisting the aggression. Recently, the Yemeni army unveiled its home-made underground missile launching pads.
