President Assad: Damascus-Tehran ties immune from aliens

Tehran, Jan 14, IRNA – Syrian President Bashar al-Assad said on Monday that existing relations between Iran and Syria are based on code of conduct and mutual respects between the two nations who are determined to administrate their fates away from alien's interference.

According to Syrian official news agency (SANA), Syrian president made the remarks in a meeting with members of Iran's national security and foreign policy commission of Iran's parliament led by Heshmatollah Falahatpisheh.

Inspired from both great cultures, Iran and Syria as two nations have powerfully resisted to immoralities and abnormal international rules such as terrorism and imposing unfair economic sanctions, the Syrian president said.

In the meeting, both sides called for expansion of political and economic relations and cooperation at large.

Iranian parliamentary delegation arrived in Damascus on Sunday and conferred with their counterparts ahead of meeting with Syrian president on issues of mutual interests along with regional developments.
