Claim on Iran's military presence in Syria extravaganza

Tehran, Jan 14, IRNA - The Iranian foreign ministry slammed the Zionist regime's claim on Tehran's military presence in Syria as extravaganza.

While categorically dismissing the Zionist regime's unreasonable claim of presence of 2,000 Iranians in Syria, Iran's Foreign Ministry Spokesman Bahram Qasemi said on Monday that the US macro-policy is destroying the infrastructure of the countries of the region, and they are undoubtedly suffering from chronic vertigo today that has led to some contradictory words.”

'What is certain is that we are witnessing the incapacity and vertigo of the United States. They have come to Syria incorrectly and in a wrong way, and they have to go or others make them go from Syria due to determination, resistance and the high-ranking authority mentioned.

'The Zionist War Ministry's comments are baseless, false, misleading, and is an attempt to justify the failures of the regime in the region,' Qasemi added.

He reiterated that resistance forces stand against the bullying of this regime, and these are the Zionist regime's lies, exaggeration, bluff, and the creation of a psychological warfare to meet their ends.

'Iran does not have a military base and military presence in Syria and was present at the request of the Syrian government for advisory mission and fighting the terrorists,' the spokesman said.

He argued that the victories of the Syrian army have caused the Zionists to be angry, which makes them raise this issue.
