Low visibility stops plane from landing in Ilam

Ilam, Jan 14, IRNA – An Iran Air flight en route from the Iranian capital Tehran to southwestern city of Ilam on Monday, was stopped from landing in Shohaday-e Ilam Airport due to low visibility, according to the manager of the Airport.

Speaking to the Islamic Republic News Agency, Ali Metanat said that the plane was forced to return to Tehran’s Mehrabad International Airport.

He said that any decisions on cancellation or change in the time of the flight will be announced later.

The two evening flights for Ilam will take off if the weather conditions will be satisfactory, the official said.
