Int’l Book Fair of Delhi underway with Iran attendance

Tehran, Jan 13, IRNA - The 27th International Book Fair of Delhi New is underway with the presence of several countries including the Islamic Republic of Iran.

The International Book Fair in Indian capital New Delhi which opened in January 5 will continue until Monday, the Indiana Express reported.

Publishers from all over the world including Iran, Canada, the United States, South Africa, Egypt, Ghana, Saudi Arabia and Hong Kong attended the international exhibition and exposed their latest publications in more than 1,350 booths to the general public.

The translation of the Qur'an into 50 languages is among the outstanding works of New Delhi exhibition. The Qur'an was exposed into the public view with a large number of books on the subject of interpretation, jurisprudence, history and Arabic language and literature.

Iranian publishers are also present at the international event in collaboration with the Institute of Cultural Exhibitions of the Ministry of Culture and Islamic Guidance and Iranian Cultural Attaché in Delhi.

This international exhibition was organized by the National Bank of Trust and the Indian Trade Development Organization under the motto 'Readers with Special Needs'.
