100 airports constructed in 40 years of Iran’s revolution: MP

Kerman, Jan 12, IRNA - A member of the Economic Commission of the Iranian Parliament said that over the past 40 years since the Islamic Revolution 100 airports have been constructed in different parts of the country, which was one of the most important achievements.

Ahmad Anaraki Mohammadi on Saturday pointed to the important achievements of the Islamic Republic over past 40 years, and said that the development of airports in the country and the movement of persons and the transfer of goods at home and abroad was one of the most important government programs that over the years after the victory of the revolution was addressed.

'The airport is an infrastructure that can be used in tourism and identify the various capacities available in different provinces to domestic and foreign tourists,' Anaraki Mohammadi added.

He went on to say that in the field of tourism there are untouched places in the country that were unknown until the victory of the Islamic Revolution and after the Islamic Revolution many historical sites, works and buildings in the field of tourism have been identified and restored.
